Om may 22nd German band Apparatschik will play in Heerlen, the hometown of BalkanBrassWorld.com, in the Netherlands. Apparatschik is the first Berlin Russian Party Scene Band. Formed in 1989 right after the wall fell.

Municipale Balcanica announces that their 2009 tour will reach Ankara in Turkey on 30 May. Municipale Balcanica will make in fact in two concerts (30 May and 2 June) in collaboration with the Institute of Italian Culture and the Italian embassy in Ankara, the first one in the square and the second in its premises. The sound of the new disc, which is inspired in some passages by the Middle Eastern atmosphere, is the soundtrack of the feast of the Republic. MB will be avaible for a press conference and interviews on 31 May and 1 June.
