Piranha Musik wins Top Label Award Listing
Piranha Musik reports:
"Three of our recent releases made the World Music Charts Europe "Albums of the Year" list - Watcha Clan's "Diaspora Hi-Fi", The Klezmatics' "Tuml=Lebn" and our West African Islamic hip hop compilation "Many Lessons".
Watcha Clan's "Diaspora Hi-Fi" was also rated a Top Ten European Release for 2008 by Holland's Mixed magazine as was Mahmoud Fadl's "For Oriental Dancers".
Fanfara Tirana's "Albanian Wedding" is one of Vibrations' journalist Thierry Sartoretti's (France) top 3 albums for 2008 and we ourselves were blushingly crowned with the laurel-wreath of a WOMEX 2008 Top Label Award listing.
